We offer a variety of winter accommodations! We have Condos located in Stonecliffe or Suites in the Downtown area.

Pontiac Lodge is located downtown next to the Cawthorne's Village Inn Restaurant. You can relax in your Jacuzzi after a day of cross country skiing. The Pontiac Lodge features 10 adequate rooms and suites. Our rooms offer kitchenettes, full kitchens, Cable TV, phone/internet, Jacuzzi's and living room areas.
VI Suites are located above the Cawthorne's Village Inn Restaurant. These suites are perfect for family and friends. These comfortable suites offer full kitchens, living rooms with cable TV, phone/internet and private bedrooms.
Ski and Snowshoe rentals available!
Cozy up in our Condominium Suites with our wood burning fireplaces! The Condominium Suites have a queen size bed, full size sleeper sofa, fireplace, full kitchen, cable TV and full bath. Sliding glass doors to a deck overlooking the Straits of Mackinac!
Our Patio Rooms are a standard room with queen size bed and full size sleeper sofa, full bath, and cable TV. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker available in each room!
Harbor Place Studio Suites are located downtown next to Shepler's Ferry Dock and provides all the conveniences of home. Suites have a spectacular water view of the Harbor or a nostalgic street view!
The Harbor Place Studio Suites have a queen size bed, a couch that converts to a queen size bed, a complete kitchen area, washer and dryer, color TV, full bath.

January 13-16, 2012 Martin Luther king Weekend
After King’s death, United States Representative John Conyers and United States Senator Edward Brooke introduced a bill in Congress to make King’s birthday a national holiday. President Ronald Reagan signed the bill and made his birthday a National Holiday. Take a peaceful weekend on the Island & reflect on his life as we all pay tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

February 4-6, 2012 Mackinac Island Winter Festival
Join us at Great Turtle Park with a bonfire cook out, sledding, snow golf, archery, snow volleyball, broom hockey and help select the images at the school for the 2013 Mackinac Island Calendar.
February 10-12, 2012 Great Turtle Chili Cook Off
Hit the cross-country ski trails surrounded by snow falling on cedars then make your way to the event of the winter. The annual chili cook off takes place at Cawthorne’s Village Inn Restaurant, where chefs and average Joe’s duke it out for the first, second and third place honors.
February 17-20, 2012 Washington’s Birthday Bash
President’s Day Weekend is a great time to hit the snowy trails for this extended weekend across America.

Snow, Fog, Ice, Water…makes for a typical March on Mackinac Island. Revelers are invited to play Snow Volleyball and the Annual Jamie Bynoe Street Hockey Tournament downtown. Oh…and there will be plenty of Irish Cheer!
