Situated on the historic West Bluff of Mackinac Island called the Annex, this historic area takes you back to the late 1800's when the well-to-do built splendid homes on the Island, transported their families by railroad and ferry to the Island and then spent the summer months enjoying the splendor of Mackinac Island.

Casa Verano has an unparalleled view of the Straits of Mackinac, the Mackinac Bridge, and Round Island Lighthouse. This home is filled with an intriguing history dating back to the turn-of-the-century. You will be amazed by the ambiance and elegance that permeates the home and ground.

Casa Verano (last home on left) is situated high on the West Bluff of Mackinac Island. It offers a spectacular view of the Straits of Mackinac, the Mackinac Bridge, and the Round Island Lighthouse.

Spend your afternoons and evenings relaxing on the porch enjoying the cool breeze from the Straits.

Casa Verano, built in the late 1800's, has been home to the Goodwin family for most of those years. It offers more than 5,000 square feet of living space.

Living room area with fireplace and baby grand piano. Large windows overlook the bridge and water view. A sunroom adjoins the living room and an open staircase takes you to the 2nd floor bedrooms.

Enjoy your meals in the family dining room with the original table and chairs from a century ago. The kitchen is accessible from the dining room by passing through the original butler's chambers.

Terms of Rental

50% confirmation deposit required upon booking. Balance due on day of arrival.

$1,000 security deposit due upon arrival.

Call for special off-season rates.

Minimum rental period of two weeks required by Mackinac Island State Park.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation before January 1 - Refund 90% of deposit if we are unable to rent the home. If we are able to re-rent the home for the entire time, full refund less $100 processing fee.

Cancellation after January 1 and before March 1 - Refund 50% of deposit if we are unable to rent the home. If we are able to re-rent the home for the entire time, full refund less $50 processing fee.

Cancellation March 1 or after - No refund unless we are able to re-rent the home for the entire time. If we are able to re-rent the home for the entire time, full refund less $100 processing fee.
